HEAD POSITIONING
5 . 4 . 1 Head rest cushions: Standard, shell-shaped, half-roll
These head rest cushions are bolted to the head rest bracket systems, includ-
ing angled, straight or continuous angle adjustment� Please perform any basic
adjustments to the head rest using the bracket systems�
5 . 4 . 2 Head rest with Velcro attachment, cushion for back of the head
The head rests with Velcro attachment or the cushions for back of the head are
secured to the back cushion with hook and loop fasteners� In such cases, the back
of the seat shell is extended to a height above the patient’s head� These two head
rest versions are only able to be mounted with this type of seat shell configuration�
To mount one of these two cushions, proceed as follows:

Lay the back side of the head cushion (with the hook end of the fastener)
on the back cushion (with the loop end of the fastener) and press gently�
The cushion is now secured�

To remove the cushion, simply pull hard on the head cushion until it
releases from the back cushion�
5 . 5 Headrest systems ALULINE
Alternatively to standard headrest systems
ERGOLINE can be equipped with different
head rest systems from the series ALULINE
(straight or shell shaped)� Both are adjust-
able in height as well as depth� Fix the head
rest by loosening the clamping lever of the
head rest receptacle on the upper part of
the back rest, insert the head rest holder
and tighten the lever again� Adjustments are
always done by changing the depth of the
insertion in the square pipe (Photo
3 )�
To adjust the depth proceed as follows:

Turn the fixing lever anticlockwise
until the square pipe can be moved

Change the square pipe to the desired
position�

Turn the black fixing lever clockwise to fix the square pipe�
