IC8P Battery Charger/Analyser

Front Controls And Indicators

(A) – DISPLAY

All battery charger indications are made on this 256 x 32 dot matrix vacuum fluorescent
display.

(B) – KEYPAD

All battery charge and capacity test functions are activated via this 16 key  keypad.

(D) - NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Connection of the negative battery lead is made to this terminal.

(E) - POSITIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Connection of the positive battery lead is made to this terminal.

(F) – BATTERY PROTECTION FUSE

Fitted here is a 16.0A QB 1 1/4” fuse which is fitted to break if excessive or reverse
currents are detected. If the fuse breaks during a charge or capacity test immediately
press STOP and remove power from the unit and disconnect the battery. Failure of the
fuse is an indication of a fault and the unit will need to be checked before using.

(G) – DOT MATRIX PRINTER
Fitted here is the 24 column dot matrix report printer.
