The calibration procedure will have to be re-executed and if the error is repeated than
the unit may have a fault and will need to be returned for service or repair.

Reviewing Calibration Date

The calibration parameters can be displayed or printed out on the built in printer. To
perform this operation the following procedure must be observed.

The unit will then print or display the calibration data.

Setting the lead volt drop

The IC8A has a simplified function for setting the lead voltage drop. This procedure
should be followed whenever a different set of leads is used with the IC8A to ensure
that the small drop in voltage is catered for because generally the leads are a fairly
small   cross   sectional   area   and   at   higher   current   the   voltage   drop   can   become
significant.
Connect the IC8A battery leads as follows: -
