2.4

System Fan Assembly Removal / Installation

System fan assembly removal is required whenever routing cables inside the chassis from back to front

or from front to back, or when server board replacement is necessary.

2.4.1

System Fan Assembly Removal

To remove the hot-swap system fan from P4304XXMUXX

Press the latch handle located on the top of the fan until the latch is fully disengaged from the fan

bracket.

Lift the fan away from the fan bracket.
