FM RADIO MODE OPERATION (87.5 - 108 MHz)
Press FUN key (9) and Lamp key (12) to enter the FM Radio Mode; the FM Icon (B) appears on the LCD
(5). The LCD display (5) will also show the
RADIO
indication in upline "A" (W) and the selected frequency in
downline "B" (V). To exit FM Radio Mode, press again FUN (9) and Lamp keys (12).
Tune FM Channels
In FM Radio mode, use the numeric keypad to select the desired frequency.
The default frequency step is 50 KHz and frequency range is 87.50 MHz -108.00MHz.
Scan FM Channels
In FM radio mode press the # key on the keypad to start scanning. Scan will automatically stop when a
radio station is detected. Press again the # key to re-start scanning function. Use the UP/DOWN keys (6) to
select the desired scanning direction.
FM Channel Storage
To store a desired radio channel, please proceed as follow :
1.
Select the desired frequency.
2.
Press the MENU key (7); the
SAVE ?
indication will appear on the LCD display (5) in upline "A" (W)
and the selected frequency in donwline "B" (V).
3.
Press the desired numeric key (from 0 to 9) to store current channel (10 memory channels are
available).
Recover stored channels
To recall a stored channel, please proceed as follow :
1.
Press the FUN key (9); the
LOAD ?
indication will appear on the LCD display (5) in upline "A" (W)
and the selected frequency in downline "B" (V).
2.
Select the desired numeric key (8) to recall a stored channel.
Notes :
1.
In FM Radio Mode, the transceiver can always receive an incoming NBFM signal in VHF or UHF band.
While receiving the VHF or UHF signal, radio reverts to TRANSCEIVER mode.
The FM Icon (B) will remain on the LCD display (5). Radio will return to FM Radio mode if no more
signal are detected or transmitted after 5 seconds. Please refer to
FMR
function at page 17.
2.
The MONITOR function will not work in FM Radio mode.
User Information
in accordance with art. 13 of the Legislative Decree of 25th July 2005, no. 15 ”Implementation of Directives 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and
2003/108/EC, relative to reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, in addition to waste disposal”.
The crossed bin symbol shown on the equipment indicates that at the end of its working life the product must be collected
separately from other waste.
The user must therefore take the above equipment to the appropriate differentiated collection centres for electronic and
electro technical waste, or return it to the dealer when purchasing a new appliance of equivalent type, in a ratio of one to one.
Appropriate differentiated waste collection for subsequent recycling, treatment and environment-friendly disposal of the
discarded equipment helps to prevent possible negative environmental and health effects and encourages recycling of the
component materials of the equipment.
Illegal disposal of the product by the user will be punished by application of the administrative fines provided for by the legislative
decree no. 22/1997 (article 50 and following of the legislative decree no. 22/1997).
