PCIe Peripheral Component Interconnect express
A type of PCI computer bus that uses existing PCI programming
concepts and communication standards, but is based on a
faster serial communication system. The high-speed PCIe can
replace almost all existing internal buses, including AGP and
PCI.
PMBus Power Management Bus
An open-standard digital power-management protocol with a
defined command language and transport and physical
interface to facilitate communication with the power converter
and other devices.
POST Power On Self Test
A set of routines that the BIOS program runs after a computer
system is powered on, including tests on CPU, system
mainboard, base memory, expanded memory, system ROM
BIOS and other components. If any error is found, the BIOS will
send a prompt or warning message to the operator.
