Air Director Components 

 

Do not touch the server before the server surface cools down to prevent injuries 
caused by hot surfaces. 

 

 

For proper cooling, do not run the server without the server top cover, air 
directors, expansion slot covers, or blanks installed. If the server supports hot-
swap of components, avoid frequently opening the top cover of the server.

Power off the server. 

2.

 

Pull the server out of the rack. 

3.

 

Remove the server top cover. 

4.

 

Remove the air director vertically upward and replace it with a new one.
