You can obtain a Domain Name System (DNS) IP address automatically if your service provider provides it 
upon logo by checking the 

Enable 

box. If the 

Enable 

box is checked, please leave the configuration field 

blank.  

If your service provider provides you with their DNS IP addresses, please uncheck the 

Enable

 box and 

enter the DNS IP address manually. 

ADSL 

 

 

 

Connect Mode: 

Auto-detect ADSL line modulation: ADSL2+, ADSL2, G.dmt, G.lite, T1.413, AnnexM2 and 

. If the gateway is unable to make a connection automatically, please adjust the ADSL line code 
to G.dmt or T1.413 first. If it still fails, please check with your service provider for help.  

Note: 

If you have subscribed ADSL1 T1.413 mode line, you may go to the Advanced Options for more connection 

combinations.

 

Activate Line:

 Toggle between 

Aborting (false)

 and 

Active (true)

 makes the 

Connect Mode 

setting take 

effect. 

Coding Gain: 

It reduces gateway’s transmit power which will affect the gateway’s downstream 

performance.  Increasing the gain will increase the downstream rate but sometimes will cause ADSL line 
instability. The configurable ADSL coding gain is from 0 dB to 7dB, or automatic.

 

Tx Attenuation: 

It is the ADSL transmission power for the gateway. The lower the power the better 

performance in gateway’s upstream.  Configurable value is between 0~12. 

DSP FirmwareVersion:

 Current ADSL line code firmware version.
