Cabling
One of the most common causes of problem is bad cabling or ADSL line. Make sure that all connected
devices are turned on. Verify that the LAN Link and ADSL line LEDs are lit. If they are not, verify that you
are using the proper cables.
Ensure that all other devices (telephone or fax machine) connected to the same telephone line as your
gateway has an in-line ADSL filter connected between them and the wall socket. If you have a central
splitter or central filter installed by a qualified technician, then you don’t need to do this. Improper installation
of in-line ADSL filters could cause random ADSL disconnect.
