IDS1632 INSTALLER MANUAL

IDS1632 INSTALLER MANUAL NO. 700-256-02C ISSUED JUNE 2005 VER 1.01

Force Arm:

With this option enabled the panel will arm with violated zones e.g. an

open window. When the panel arms, any violated zone is bypassed. If

force armed zones restore during the arm cycle, the zone is

automatically re-activated (unbypassed).

Siren Toot on Away Arm / Disarm:

This option allows the user an audible confirmation that arming or

disarming of the panel has occurred. The siren can be programmed to

give a short beep after successful arming, and two short beeps after

disarming. This is useful when used in conjunction remote or

keyswitch arming/disarming.

Engineer Reset:

If enabled this option prevents arming of the partition after an alarm

condition has occured. The partition can only be armed after the

engineer has entered a valid installer code. A trouble condition will be

displayed on the keypad if enabled in location 40.
