8. Errors
Danger:
All work on the inside the unit may
only be carried out by personnel who
are technically qualified to do so.
Warning:

instructions.
8.1 Resolving simple problems If you suspect an error, first try to resolve the
problem, using the table below. You do not have
to be an expert in order to do this.
If this fails to resolve the problem, there may be
a fault; in that case, alert a service technician.
Some problems can be resolved simply by
resetting the system once. (See
5.2.3 Error
messages on the control panel- Reset
system
)
PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE WHAT TO DO
The unit does not work. The unit has not been switched on Switch the unit on
The unit has no power supply. Check the power supply:

isolation switch,
The unit has been switched off by
external control components Check external control
components, if present:

door contact switch: is the
door open?
The unit has been switched off by
the thermal cut-out.
1.
Switch the unit off using
the control panel.
2.
Allow the unit to cool down.
3.
Turn the unit on and check
whether it is now working
again.
Contact Schwank if this error
occurs repeatedly.
