4. Insert the thread break sensor into the hole shown.

Follow the instructions for Thread Break Sensor Adjustment above to set the sensor in the proper

position.

Reinstall the front panels. (See

To install the front plastic panels

in the

Front Plastic Panels

section of

this manual.)

28. Needle Laser (QM3031)

CAUTION

: Electronic components can be damaged by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Follow all ESD

precautions iin the

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)

section at the front of the manual while handling

the Needle Laser.

To adjust the needle laser

Remove the front plastic panels. (See

To remove the front plastic panels

in section 22,

Front Plastic

Panels

Turn on the Infinity, but take care to not short anything out on the front distribution board while it is

on. Make sure you do not accidentally start the machine.

Insert a large flat screwdriver downward

between the needle laser clip and the head

frame.

4. Gently pull forward on the screwdriver (making

sure that it is putting pressure between the

metal clip and the head frame and NOT the

needle laser post) until the laser post is loose

enough to adjust.

Use the

screw

head to

rotate or

slide the

laser.
