C. Regarding the Test

The arm and heart are not aligned during the test. Adjust the height of the chair
to align the arm and heart.
Correct testing posture.
Incorrect testing posture. The arm is higher than
the heart. Blood pressure value will be measured
lower.
Incorrect testing posture. The arm is lower than
the heart. Blood pressure value will be measured
higher.

Inserting the arm too far or not far enough may produce incorrect results. Place
elbow in elbow groove for accurate results.

Thick clothes or rolled up sleeves may produce incorrect results.
•
The user may have tested without sufficient rest. Take the test after resting at
least 5 minutes.
•
Do not talk or move during the test.
