DESCRIPTION
The SmartNode model SN1200 is a compact voice-data access device, which supports two voice
channels. The user interfaces consist of one ISDN BRI and one Ethernet 10BaseT. One ISDN BRI and
one Ethernet 10BaseT provide network access. It is suitable for home office or small office
applications. The ventilated metal case may be placed on a desktop or be wall-mounted. The SN1200
complies with all relevant EU directives.

Two LEDs (POWER, RUN) indicate the device status.

Four LEDs (BRI0, BRI1, ETH0, ETH1) indicate the status of the interfaces.

1.3 Rear
Panel
The rear view of the SmartNode 1200 is depicted in Figure 1-2. Two ’ LINK’ LEDs indicate the status
of the Ethernet connections, and two ’L2’ LEDs the status of the BRI interfaces. See Appendix A for
connection cable and pin out data.
