Manual de Instalação e Operação

(Atuar nas Saidas = Actuate at the Outputs , Confirm , Out)

It can be put ( ) or withdraw ( ) capacitors banks manually.
The active bank for the state change keeps blinking on screen and its respective number

is shown in left lower corner of the display. Press the arrows or to activate or to disconnect
capacitors bank, or press F1 to pass to the next bank. To change the screen press F4.

9.4. ZERO THE COMMUTATIONS NUMBERS RECORDS

Go to the screen below using the key F1 and the arrows.
Pressing F1 all the records of commutations numbers of capacitors banks will be taken to

zero. The number of commutations of each capacitors bank is used by

Smart Cap 485

, to

increase the useful life of the banks.

(Zerar Comutações? = Zero Commutations ?, Confirma = Confirm, Sair = Out)

9.5. CONTROL RANGE PROGRAMMING

Press F1 to confirm and to enter in parameter programming screen.
In this screen it can be adjusted the maximum and minimum power factor value within

the values of 0,500 inductive and 0,500 capacitive.

Program as item 8.3.

(Prog. Faixa Controle = Prog. Control Range)

Setup PF's maximum value, after this type F1 to setup PF's minimum value and type F1

to confirm the values.

This control range setup is the used by

Smart Cap 485

to put or withdraw capacitors

banks in the net, when it is working in automatic mode.
