Devices that contain hot-swappable power supplies have a front panel with release screws for the hot-
swappable power supplies.
If your front panel does not have these screws, then you must remove your device from service before
swapping out power supplies. See Field-Replaceable Redundant PSU Assembly (on page 140).
Removing the Individual Hot-Swappable Power Supply
Without turning the device off, follow these steps:
1.
Determine which power supply needs replacement.

Or you can look inside the front right of the SNP; the power supply that is running and functioning
correctly will have two green lights in its upper right corner.
2.
Unscrew the two screws that hold the hot swappable power supply cover in place on the front of
the unit.
