Installing the Front Panel

Gently slide the entire front panel onto the chassis.

Use a screwdriver to replace the thumb screws at the left and right ends of the front panel.

Return power to the SNP.

Your SNP is ready to use.

Field-Replaceable Redundant PSU Assembly

The Power supply assembly (170-101715Q0x) is located at the right end of the SNP.

Removing the Power Supply Assembly

Before removing the power supply assembly, you must remove the front panel of the SNP. See

Removing the Front Panel

(on page 139) for more information. It is not necessary to remove the top of

the chassis to remove the power supply, meaning that you can replace the power supply while the
entire unit remains in the rack.

Unscrew the lock pin until it springs free (it is a captive screw so will not escape completely).

Slide the safety lever to the left.
