Set Times Operation

Touch the

Set times

radio button to automatically clean the print heads on specific days

and times, and to display the controls for setting those times.

To program an auto clean time:
1. Touch the

Day

button for the day the cleaning cycle is to be performed. Any existing

cleaning times for that day are displayed.

2. Touch the

hour

section of an empty Time box (as indicated by a "--:--") to highlight it.

3. Touch the

Up/Down Arrow

buttons to set the hour the print heads are to be cleaned.

4. Touch the

minute

section of that same Time box.

5. Touch the

Up/Down Arrow

buttons to set the minute the print heads are to be cleaned.

6. Repeat until all cleaning times are programmed, up to six per day.

NOTE:

To clean the print heads at the same time every day, Monday through Sunday, pro-

gram it under the All [days] button.

Touch the

Clear

button to delete a highlighted cleaning time.

Touch the

Clear All

button to delete all programmed cleaning times for all days. The user

will be prompted to confirm deletion.

Touch the

button to save all changes and return to the Home Screen.

Touch the

Cancel

button to return to the Home Screen without saving any changes.

NOTE

: To manually clean the print heads between programmed times go to the

Purge

Screen

NOTE

: If the IJ3000 is printing at a programmed auto clean time, the cleaning is skipped. If

the photocell is tripped while the print heads are being cleaned, the print cycle is skipped.
