Non-Vented (recirculating) Installation
1. Connect the deflector to the vent cover bracket using the four
3.5 x 9.5 mm screws provided.
2. Measure length of 8" (20 cm) vent needed to connect the
transition to the deflector.
NOTE: Vent should fit up inside deflector a minimum of
1" (2.5 cm).
3. Install vent between the transition and the deflector.
4. Seal all connections with clamps.
5. Remove grease filter.
Make Electrical Connection
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove terminal box cover.
3. Remove the knockout in the terminal box cover and install a
UL listed or CSA approved
¹⁄₂
" strain relief.
4. Run 3 wires, black, white and green (14AWG), in
¹⁄₂
" conduit
from service panel to terminal box. Use caulking to seal
opening.
5. Use UL listed wire connectors and connect black wires (D)
together.
6. Use UL listed wire connectors and connect white wires (F)
together.
7. Connect green (or bare) ground wire from home power supply
to yellow-green ground wire (E) in terminal box using UL listed
wire connectors.
8. Tighten strain relief screw.
9. Install terminal box cover.
10. Check all light bulbs to make sure they are secure in their
sockets.
11. Reconnect power.
