finger, setting it to “36’ ‘ as in Fig. 19 when
using a 36-expo- sure film or to “20” when using
a 20-exposure film; in other words set it to
the maximum number of frames available. The
EXA IIa is then ready for action, and after each
exposure the frame counter will indicate how
many pictures can still be taken on the film in
the camera.
In place of the take-up spool (27),an empty
standard film cassette may be used in the
take- up chamber (28). Take care to check the
condition of this take-up cassette thoroughly:
the core should move easily within the shell of
the cassette and must not jam (if necessary the
friction points of the cassette core may be lubri-
cated by rubbing them with paraffin wax).
