19
mm (approx.1 x 1 1/2 in.) in size. To ensure
trouble free film transport it is essential to use
only faultless film cassettes. When using film
on daylight loading spools, these should only
be inserted into cassettes made by the same
manufacturers.
Remove the camera back (29) in the manner
already described. Slide the cassette contain-
ing the unexposed film into the chamber (21)
from below (Fig. 16), if necessary swinging out
the rewind crank (14) and turning it slightly so
that the coupling dog (20) grips the bar in the
core of the cassette spool. The mouth of the
cassette with the protruding leader tongue
of the film must lie against the guide plate
(21). Remove the take-up spool (27) from the
opposite film chamber (28),push the beginning
of the film beneath the retaining spring in the
take-up spool (Fig. 17) and wind half a turn of
film around the core of the spool. Replace the
take-up spool (77) in the film chamber (28) and
turn it slightly in the wind-on direction so that
the coupling dog (32) engages the bar inside
the spool core and the spool can be pushed
right home into the film chamber. Now swing
the rapid-wind lever (11) right up to its stop (if
necessary first releasing the shutter), so that
the film is pulled as taut as possible from the
full feed cassette, over the film guide roller (23)
