Introduction
The
access
point
(AP)
runs
software
that
includes
a
network
management
agent.
The
agent
offers
a
variety
of
management
options,
including
SNMP
and
a
web
‐
based
interface.
The
AP
can
also
be
accessed
via
Telnet
or
SSH
for
configuration
using
a
command
line
interface
(CLI).
Configuration
Options
The
access
point’s
web
agent
allows
you
to
configure
AP
parameters,
monitor
wireless
connections,
and
display
statistics
using
a
standard
web
browser
such
as
Internet
Explorer
9.x
or
later,
Mozilla
Firefox
5
or
later,
and
Chrome
35
or
later.
The
AP’s
web
management
interface
can
be
accessed
from
any
computer
attached
to
the
network.
The
CLI
program
can
be
accessed
remotely
by
a
Telnet
or
Secure
Shell
(SSH)
connection
over
the
network.
The
CLI
is
used
primarily
for
technical
support.
The
AP’s
management
agent
also
supports
SNMP
(Simple
Network
Management
Protocol).
This
SNMP
agent
permits
the
AP
to
be
managed
from
any
computer
in
the
network
using
network
management
software.
The
AP’s
web
interface,
console
interface,
and
SNMP
agent
allow
you
to
perform
management
functions
such
as:
