4) Test Mode

When in the test mode, the IER 520 Printer is able to print two test
documents, even if not connected to the host.

a)

Check that the printer is switched off. Press the Test/Eject key.

b) While pressing the Test/Eject key, switch the printer on (set the

power switch to the I position).

c)

As soon as the three indicators are lit, release the Test/Eject key:
the printer is now in the test mode.

NOTE

To leave the test mode, simply switch the printer off.

5) Printing out the Configuration Test Document

This test document contains all information on the IER 520 Printer
configuration. Set the printer to the test mode (see previous Paragraph)
and proceed as follows:

a)

Press the Test/Eject key once. This causes the Marche/On and
Err. indicators to be lit.

b) After approximately two seconds the printer configuration test

document is printed.
