b) Indicator Functions
Marche/On Indicator
•
When on steadily, indicates that the printer is switched on.
Reception Indicator
•
When flashing rapidly, indicates that the printer is receiving
messages from the host.
•
When flashing slowly, indicates a syntax error in the
message received from the host.
Err. Indicator
•
When flashing alone, indicates that printer initialization is
in progress (at the time of power up).
•
When steadily lit alone, indicates that the printhead is
unlocked (i.e. raised).
•
When steadily lit in conjunction with the Reception
indicator, indicates a paper jam (see Page 37).
•
When flashing alternately with the Reception indicator,
indicates that the stock is out and that new media needs
to be loaded (see Page 22).
