4.13. Add-on module for Navigator control
To extend the functionality of the navigator control,
different add-on modules are available as acces-
sories and can be connected to the main plate, like
the following additional modules:
4.13.1. Heating circuit control module,
internal
The internal expansion module permits the control of
two additional heating and/or cooling circuits via the
Navigator control. Two mixers and the relevant flow
sensors,the offset roomstat and the heating circuit
pump can be directly connected on the expansion
PCB.
4.13.2. Heating circuit control module,
external
The heating circuit control module, external enables
theregulation of three additional heating and/or coo-
ling circuits via Navigator control.The heating
circuit control module, external allows three mixer cir-
cuits to be connected to the respective heating circuit
pumps,flow sensors and room units.
Communication with the Navigator control is effected
via a CAN bus connection. This allows the Navigator
controller to be placed up to 300m away With casca-
de systems the usage of the external heating circuit
control module is not possible.
4.13.3. EIB/KNX Module
The EIB-KNX module can be used to connect
EIB-KNX devices to the heat pump. The resulting
EIB-KNX-compliant heat pump can communicate
with other EIB-KNX devices, such as sensors and
actuators, via this module. This enables data such
as temperature, operating conditions, etc. to be ex-
changed and processed between the devices.
4.14. Add-on Module for Solar
The navigator controller enables a temperature dif-
ferential controlled solar charging. A layered solar
injection via a plate heat exchanger in the hygienik or
over a SSL module in the heating source is possible
with an additional solar plate.
4.14.1. Extension set electric for
groundwater pump
At the TERRA SW 6-17 Complete HGL and
TERRA SW 8-13 Complete HGL 230V for groundwa-
ter usage, for controlling the groundwater pump the
