8. Commissioning
8.1. Instr uctions for commissioning
Before commissioning AERO SLM heat pumps, the
heating side must be checked for tightness, rinsed
thoroughly,
fi
lled and bled carefully. During transport it
can happen that threaded connections can be loosen
inside the heat pump by vibrations. To avoid dama-
ges on the heat pump and the installation area, it is
absolutely necessary that all pipe connections inside
the heat pump are tighten. Please check this during
commissioning.
Commissioning requirements:
- The heating and any storage tank must be
fi
lled and
bled.
- The screwing must be checked for tightness during
commissioning.
- The electrical installation must be complete and
fuse-protected in line with legal requirements.
- The heat pump may only be switched on if it is
fi
lled
on the refrigerant side and on the heating side, and
if the electrical connections has been checked.
- During commissioning, the
fl
ow temperatures must
also be set. The shut-o
ff
point 62°C (with refrigerant
R410A) should be checked and the set shut-o
ff
temperature changed if necessary.
- If the heat pump is to be drained on the heating
side, the connection hose on the heat pump return
must be disconnected.
- At air source heat pumps a heating bu
ff
er tempe-
rature of min. 20°C must be guaranteed in order to
ensure the required temperature for the reference
defrosting.
8.2. Operation
The AERO SLM is switched on and o
ff
automatically
via the fully automated NAVIGATOR 2.0. For opera-
ting and commissioning, see the separate operating
and commissioning instructions.
Annual inspection and maintenance of the system by
customer services is recommended, in particular with
regard to preserving warranty claims.
8.3. Faults
The AERO SLM is
fi
tted with various safety devices
so that no damage can be caused to the equipment in
the event of faults. If the heat pump does not run, ple-
ase check the fault message which will be displayed
on the NAVIGATOR 2.0 control display. For more
information, please see the NAVIGATOR 2.0 control
operating instructions.
If an error occurs several times in succes-
sion, please contact your relevant iDM
customer service department.
