Test assembly
CAUTION!
Overpressure at the gas inlet
Overpressure at the gas inlet may lead to damage to the instrument!

Never connect a pressurised gas container directly. Not even with a
pressure reducer.
▶
Vent the gas inlet.
The following test assembly enables intake of the test gases without any overpressure.
The hose prevents air from entering the intake flow.
1. Construct the test assembly as shown in the drawing. Do not yet connect the gas
inlet of the emission monitor.
2. Open the gas cylinder.
3. Check the test assembly for constant gas flow (e.g. using a wetted finger or a flow
meter).
4. Close the gas cylinder.
5. Connect the test assembly to the gas inlet.
