7.2. ENGINE START
- Pedals Brake, APPLY. Do not use the parking brake (optional);
- Choke, APPLY (not necessary with engine hot or if outside air temperature is above 15° C);
- Throttle, CLOSED (1 cm open with engine hot);
- Master switch, ON;
- Electric fuel pump switch, ON;
- Fuel pressure increase, CHECK;
- Electric fuel pump Switch, OFF and check fuel pressure slowly decreasing to zero: if not,
check the fuel return line;
- Propeller clear, CHECK;
- Magnetos switches both ON;
- Starter, ENGAGE;
- Oil pressure, CHECK increasing within 10 '' (while engine is running);
- 2000 ÷ 2500 RPM, SET for engine warm-up;
- Avionics systems ON;
- Carburettor Heat, ACTIVATE during probable icing conditions.
7.3. TAXI
- Seat belts, FASTEN (keep the back against seat, tighten the ventral belt and then adjust the
shoulder straps);
- Passenger seat belts, check FASTEN;
- Doors, CLOSED;
- Fuel level, CHECK;
- Flap, RETRACT to improve lateral visibility during taxi;
- Communication, PERFORM if required;
- Taxiway, CHECK free;
- Brakes, CHECK during taxiing.
- Instrument, CHECK during taxiing.
7.4. BEFORE TAKE-OFF
- Before magnetos check, verify that the flow of the propeller behind the aircraft does not cause
damages;
- 4000 RPM, SET;
- Magnetos, CHECK Right and Left:

Maximum drop 300 RPM;
