NON-NEGLIGIBLE ERROR.
Fuel quantity and reserve indicator
Fuel quantity on board is visible on the level indicators placed on the root rib of the wings. These
indicators consist of a transparent pipe connected to the tank. Refer to the
Chapter 2.5
for the system
diagram.
WARNING
ATTITUDE DIFFERENT FROM LEVELED FLIGHT,
CAN ALTER THE FUEL LEVEL READING. THE
LEVEL READING MUST THEREFORE BE
CARRIED OUT IN LEVELED FLIGHT EVALUATING
AN AVERAGE INDICATION BETWEEN THE
OSCILLATIONS. FLYING UNCOORDINATED
(SIDE SLIP INDICATOR OUT OF CENTER) CAN
CAUSE FUEL TRANSFER FROM AN HALF-WING
TO ANOTHER, IN THE DIRECTION OF THE SIDE
SLIP BALL. AVOID FLYING NOT COORDINATED
FOR LONG PERIODS.
The reserve indicator light turn on when the Collector tank begins to empty. From that moment, only
6 liters of usable fuel are available.
