3.8 IrDA Infrared Interface Port
POS-566/566L built-in IrDA port supports Serial Infrared (SIR) or
Amplitude Shift Keyed IR (ASKIR) interface. If you want to use the
IrDA port, you have to configure the SIR or ASKIR model in the
BIOS’s Peripheral Setup’s COM4. Then the normal RS-232 COM4
will be disabled.

3.9 Fan Connector
POS-566/566L provides one CPU cooling fan connector and two
system fan connectors. These connectors can supply 12V/500mA
to the cooling fan. The connector has a “rotation” pin which supply
the fan’s rotation signal to the system, so the system BIOS knows
the fan speed. Please note that only specified fan offers the
rotation signal .

Note:
The pin configuration is like this (looked from above):
If it is connected in reverse direction, it will cause the fan’s rpm smaller and
your CPU will be in
overheated
condition. Normal CPU Fan rpm is > 5000
rpm.
