Transmitting a Status message (Continued)

Using [Individual] or [Talkgroup]:

1. Push [Individual] or [Talkgroup] to enter the

Application Selection mode.

•

“INDIVIDUAL” or “TALKGROUP” is briefly displayed,

then “VOICE” is displayed.

2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select “STATUS,”

then push [Individual] or [Talkgroup].

Using [Status]:

1. Push [Status] to enter the Status Message

Selection mode.

2. Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select a status

message.

3. Hold down [Status] for 1 second to transmit

the status message to the last called station or

Talkgroup.

• “STAT OK” is displayed after receiving an

acknowledgement from the target station.

• “STA FAIL” is displayed if the target station does not

send back an acknowledgement.

5. Push [PTT] to transmit the status message to the

selected station or Talkgroup.

• “STAT OK” is displayed after receiving an

acknowledgement from the target station.

• “STA FAIL” is displayed if the target station does not

send back an acknowledgement.
