SIGNAL STRENGTH ICON
Displays the relative receive signal strength.

LOW POWER ICON
Displayed when the output power is set to Low.

Whenthebatterychargedecreasestoaspecified
level, low power is automatically selected.

AUDIBLE ICON
Displayed when the channel is in the Audible
(unmute) mode.

SCRAMBLER/ENCRYPTION ICON
In the Analog mode
Displayed when the Voice Scrambler function is
ON.
In the Digital mode

Displayed when the Voice Encryption function
is ON.

Blinks when decoding an encrypted signal.

SCAN ICON

Blinks while scanning.

Displayed when the scan pauses.

MESSAGE ICON
Displayed when the transceiver receives a
message (Short Data Message or Status
Message).

BELL ICON
Displayed when a matching signal is received,
depending on the presetting.

GPS/COMPANDER ICON

“ ” is displayed when the GPS receiver
acquires GPS signals from satellites and the
“GPS Indicator” setting is ON.

is activated and the “GPS Indicator” setting is
OFF.
