DSC OPERATION
ï ï Transmitting position request call
Transmit a position request call when you want to know your
friend’s current position, etc.

Select a desired channel other than Ch 70.

Push [DSC] to select the DSC menu.

Push [DSC] to enter pre-programmed individual address.
•”OK” appears.

Push [DSC] to transmit the position request call.
• Ch 70 is selected and the position re-
quest call is transmitted.

The position request call has been
transmitted.
• ”WAITING ACK” scrolls.

Push [PTT] or rotate the channel se-
lector to exit the condition.
ï ï Transmitting position reply call
Transmit a position reply call when a position request call is
received.
q
”DSC” appears and a“RCV Pos re-
quest” scrolls in the display.
w
Push [DSC] to reply to the position request call; push [H/L]
to ignore the position request call.
