Remove
the
seven
screws
that
secure
the
system
board
to
the
chassis
9.
Slide
the
system
board
toward
the
front
of
the
server
to
disengage
the
tabs
in
the
chassis;
then,
carefully
lift
the
system
board
out
of
the
server.
10.
If
you
are
instructed
to
return
the
system
board,
follow
all
packaging
instructions,
and
use
any
packaging
materials
for
shipping
that
are
supplied
to
you.
Installing
the
system
board
To
install
the
system
board,
complete
the
following
steps.
System board
screws (7 places)
1.
Insert
the
system
board
into
the
chassis
and
slide
it
toward
the
rear
of
the
server
until
it
fully
engages
the
tabs
in
the
chassis.
Note:
The
tabs
are
fully
engaged
when
the
screw
holes
in
the
system
board
are
aligned
with
the
corresponding
holes
in
the
chassis.
2.
Install
the
seven
screws
that
secure
the
system
board
to
the
chassis.
3.
Install
any
of
the
following
components
that
were
removed
from
the
system
board:

Battery
(see
v
DIMMs
(see
v
Microprocessor
and
fan
sink
(see
v
Adapters
(see
4.
Reconnect
any
cables
to
the
system
board
that
were
disconnected
during
removal.

Install
the
system
fan
