Replacing the Battery Pack

IBM ThinkPad 310E/310ED: User’s Guide

Locate the pull tab

of the battery; pull the tab to remove the

battery out of the battery bay.

Insert the fully charged battery into the battery bay (with its
connector side up) until you feel the contacts engage.

Replace the battery bay door.

Press the power switch.

The computer resumes normal operation from hibernation
mode.
