number

failed

it
is
being
replaced
by
a
new
router.
In
the
event
of
a
hardware
failure,
the
replacement
router
should
be
configured
to
display
the
serial
number
of
the
original
failed
router,
in
order
to
maintain
continuity
in
the
IBM
service
system.
Once
you
have
installed
the
replacement
router,
follow
the
steps
below
to
change
the
serial
number
displayed
through
the
router
or
fabric
management
program.
