Install the Ruggedized Frame Kit
1. Install the upper support bar in the front of the rack using four M8 (20 mm) screws to secure the upper
support bar to the front of the rack.
Note: The upper support bar is installed at EIA location 34 on the rack vertical rail.
See the following figure.

2. Install the lower support bar in the front of the rack, using four M8 (20 mm) screws to secure the lower
support bar to the front of the rack.
Note: The lower support bar is installed at EIA location 18 on the rack front vertical rail.
3. Attach the top hinge plate (for the triangular brace) on the vertical rail using two (25 mm) screws with
washers.
Note: The top hinge plate is installed at EIA location 29 - 30 on the front vertical rail.
4. Attach the bottom hinge plate (for the triangular brace) on the vertical rail using two 25 mm screws
with washers.
Note: The bottom hinge is installed at approximately EIA location 6 - 7 on the front vertical rail.
5. Attach the latch plate on the front vertical rail with two M8 (20 mm) screws.
