Creating
a
requirements
report
Before
you
apply
the
OFM
configuration,
IBM
recommends
that
you
create
a
requirements
report.
The
requirements
report
verifies
the
firmware
level
of
the
blades
BMC,
BIOS
and
adapters.
It
also
goes
through
a
dry
run
of
the
first
part
of
applying
the
OFM
configuration
and
checks
to
see
if
there
are
potential
problems.

click
creating

requirements
report
.
Creating
a
requirements
report
from
the
main
Open
Fabric
Manager
Configuration
Management
page
on
the
AMM
Web
interface
1.
Login
to
the
AMM
Web
interface.
2.
In
the
left
pane,
under
Blade
Tasks
,
select
Open
Fabric
Manager
.
The
Open
Fabric
Manager
Configuration
Management
page
will
open
in
the
right
pane.
3.
Select
Create
a
Requirements
Report
.
The
Create
a
Requirements
Report
page
will
open
in
the
right
pane.
4.
Click
Browse
to
locate
the
configuration
file
for
which
you
are
creating
the
requirements
report.
This
would
typically
be
a
configuration
file
you
want
to
use
to
apply
a
new
OFM
configuration.
5.
You
can
select
Advanced
Options
to
override
certain
checks.

configuration”

page
20
for
more
information.
6.
After
you
locate
the
configuration
file,
click
OK
.
If
no
parsing
errors
are
found
in
the
configuration
file,
the
Requirements
Report
page
will
be
displayed.

Editing
the
configuration
file
manually
After
the
initial
generation
of
the
configuration
file,
you
can
edit
it
and
make
changes
according
to
the
specific
needs
of
you
environment.
