Installing Windows 95 or Windows NT Operations Console Support

An electrical outlet that is not correctly wired could place hazardous voltage
on metal parts of the system or the products that attach to the system. It is the
customer’s responsibility to ensure that the outlet is correctly wired and

The following instructs you on how to prepare your personal computer (PC) that
you will be using as your Operations Console.
Note: When you see Windows 95, it applies to Windows 95 and beyond.

Plug the PC power cord into an electrical outlet or an uninterruptible
power supply.
Attention:
Do not plug in or power on your AS/400 system unit at this time.
__ 2.
Power on your Operations Console PC.
__ 3. Click on Start .
__ 4. Click on Settings .
__ 5. Click on Control Panel .
__ 6. Click on Add/Remove Programs .
__ 7. Is IBM AS/400 Client Access for Windows 95/NT shown?
Yes No

Click on
OK
. Go to step 10.
Click on IBM AS/400 Client Access for Windows 95/NT .

At the Uninstall Client Access window, click on Uninstall .
