turned elbow as shown.

The intake pipe does not need to penetrate the roof at the same elevation as the
exhaust (as shown); lower down on the roof is acceptable.

Best Practice

: To reduce the possibility of expansion noise, allow a ¼"

gap around the exhaust and air intake piping.
