User Performance Evaluation
A study evaluating glucose values from fingertip capillary blood
samples obtained by 100 lay persons showed the following results:
97.1% within ± 15 mg/dL (± 0.83 mmol/L) of the medical
laboratory values at glucose concentrations below 100 mg/dL
(5.55 mmol/L), and 99% within ±15% of the medical laboratory
values at glucose concentrations at or above 100 mg/dL
(5.55 mmol/L).
Compounds of xylose ≥ 9.69 mg/dL (0.54 mmol/L) at glucose
concentrations of 50-100 mg/dL (2.8–5.6 mmol/L) may cause
overestimation of blood glucose results.

Interferences
The effect of various interfering substances was evaluated in
whole blood samples on glucose measurements.
