Blood Glucose Monitoring
Start with the Meter off. Do not insert
a Test Strip.
1. Hold down the
button until Meter
beeps and full Display appears.
Meter is now in Set Up mode.
Setting Time:
2. The number for the hour
flashes. Press the
button to increase or the
button to decrease.
Press the
button when
the correct hour is shown.
3. Repeat Step 2 for minutes.
Setting Date:
4. The number for the month
flashes. Press the
button to increase or the
button to decrease.
Press the
button when
the correct month is shown.
5. Repeat Step 4 for day.
6. Repeat Step 4 for year.

5. Lance finger. Let a blood drop form.
6. Place Sample Tip of Test Strip against
blood drop and hold (see illustration).
Blood is drawn into Test Strip until
Meter beeps. (See Note below).
7. After countdown, glucose result
is displayed with date/time.
Remove Test Strip and
discard. Meter turns off. Test
result is stored in Memory.
Note:
Discard Test Strip if Meter did
not beep within 5 seconds after placing
Tip of Test Strip against blood drop.
Repeat test with new Strip and new
blood sample. If problem persists, see
Owner’s Booklet.

1. Wash hands with warm, soapy water.
2. Remove Test Strip from vial and
recap vial immediately.
3. With Meter off, insert Test Strip
(Contacts facing up) into Test Port.
Meter turns on.
1. Remove Code
Chip from Test
Strip Box. Match
the number printed
on the Code Chip
to the number on
the Test Strip Vial
(plastic container).
2. Insert Code Chip
into your Meter
with the numbers
facing up.
4. Confirm Meter Display and Code
Chip number matches.
