The lum inom et er is designed wit h a special prot ect ive pocket , which
can be rem oved for cleaning or replacem ent if required. To rem ove
t he prot ect ive pocket , open t he lum inom et er ’s lid, t ight ly grasp t he
finger grip of t he pocket , gent ly pull t he pocket upwards, and rem ov e
it from t he lum inom et er .

CA UTI ON : Great care should be t aken when rem oving t he pocket
not t o dam age it or t he surrounding casework. Do not use excessive
force. Never use a tool to pry out t he pocket .
Carefully clean t he int erior of t he pocket using wat er or a very m ild
det ergent solut ion, ensuring t hat t he pocket is com plet ely dry and
clean before put t ing it back int o t he lum inom et er .
W A RN I N G: Do not use solvent s or ot her st rong chem icals as
t hese will degrade t he clear opt ical sect ion of t he pocket and affect
t he perform ance of t he lum inom et er .
To replace t he pocket , carefully insert it int o t he lum inom et er ,
ensuring t hat it is correct ly orient at ed, and t hen push it fully dow n
unt il it clicks int o posit ion.
