Optional Heaters
Remote Heaters:
The Remote Heaters are supplied with a 60” cord which allows for versatile installations
and locations with multiple angles. BE SURE HEATER IS INSTALLED ON PRESSURE
SIDE OF PUMP AND HEATER BOX INSTALLED HORIZONTAL OR PREFERABLY DOWN.
HEATER MUST BE BONDED TO THE CONTROL BOX USING A #8 SOLID COPPER
BONDING WIRE (NOT INCLUDED).
The 9004 Platinum control system has the unique ability to operate dual heaters (second
heater can be purchased separately) in a wide array of wattage configurations. Make sure
your electrical service is capable of handling the increased amperage. (Chart below refers
to a 240 volt supply feed and reflects heater amperages only - be sure to add all other
equipment amperages for proper breaker sizing.)
4.0kw = 16amps •
4.5kw = 18.7 amps •
5.5kw = 22.9 amps •
8.0kw = 33.3 amps •
8.5kw = 35.4 amps •
9.0kw = 37.5 amps •
9.5kw = 39.5 amps •
10kw = 41.6 amps •
11kw = 45.8 amps •
Care must be taken as to how the two heaters
are plumbed into the system. It is imperative
that the heaters be plumbed as close together
as possible (it is recommended that the
heaters are less than 8” apart) in one of two
configurations.

Heater “ON” Indicator
This indicator light activates when the
heater is "on". It is a diagnostic tool for
service technicians.
