You to read carefully the following
instructions that will enable You to
appreciate at its best HYDOKABLE ’s
characteristics.
CHARACTERISTICS
HYDROKABL E is a heating cable
especially built for aquariums and
terrariums. In order to exploit its
features, we recommend it’s use
connected to a HYDROSET ther-
mostat.
ATTENTION!!!
Do not use refractory (fire-proof)
material to cover the heating cable.

INSTALLATION
ATTENTION!!! To prevent electrical
shock always disconnect all electri-
cal equipment from electrical supply
before putting your hands in the
tank. If the plug or the electrical sup-
ply are wet, disconnect the fuse or
circuit breaker that supplies power
to the appliance. Make sure that
the voltage of the electrical supply
corresponds to the voltage shown
on the label of the appliance.
Before installing HYDROKABLE clean
the glass at the bottom of the tank
carefully. Place the cable so that
the heating element is always su-
bmerged or covered by the chosen
substrate from the black reference
notch to the end (fig.1).
Position the cable in a zig-zag pat-
tern or in a regular spiral pattern
(fig. 2).
The curves of the cable must have
wide angles, in case of small angles
there might be a malfunctioning of
the cable which can cause irreversi-
ble damages to it. Avoid overlapsing
of the cable (fig. 3).
Fix the cable with the supplied suc-
tion cups (fig. 4).
Cover with the chosen substrate.

ATTENTION!!! When placing HYDRO-
KABLE in a terrarium make sure it is
well covered so that the animal
guest of the tank is unable to unbury
it, causing damage to itself.
Connect HYDROKABLE ’s plug to the
socket of the thermostat (fig. 6).
MAINTANINANCE
To clean the cable do NOT use
detergents or solvents, simply rinse
thoroughly under luke warm water.
SAFETY STANDARDS
• HYDROKABLE is only intended for
indoor use.
• To avoid electrical shock always
disconnect all electrical equip-
ments from mains before placing
your hands in the tank.
• Do not use if either the cord or
the plug are damaged.
• The appliance should not be ope-
ned and/or tampered with.
• This appliance is not intended for
use by young children or infirm
persons without supervision.
Young children should be super-
vised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• The plug cannot be replaced or re-
paired; in case of damage the
entire appliance must be replaced.
• Check voltage to verify the one re-
ported on heater label corresponds
to your electrical supply.
• To prevent any inconvenience do
not touch HYDROKABLE when it
is connected to the electrical supply.
GUARANTEE
This device is guaranteed for a
period of 24 months from the day
of purchase, against defects in ma-
terial or manufacturing defects. Our
guarantee does not apply to claims
the cause of which is due to instal-
lation and operation faults, lack of
maintenance, misuse of the applian-
ce, effects of frost, furring and lime
deposits or amateur attempts at
repair work. The consumable mate-
rials and the parts subjected to wear
and tear, that must be periodically
replaced for normal maintenance
of the device, are not included in
our guarantee. The certificate of
guarantee must be completed by
the retailer and is to be sent with the
appliance in case of return, together
with the purchase receipt recording
the day of purchase.
