a car.
2.6.4 Test
You can use this function to manually test how well
the components in the robotic lawnmower work. The
values are shown on the display during testing.
Motors
Wheel motor
The battery voltage should be at least 18 V when
testing the wheel motors.
Lift the mower so that the drive wheels are off the
ground. The following is shown on the display during
the test:

Use
Arrow up
and
Arrow down
to increase or de-
crease the wheel force, and in this way run the mo-
tors forward or backward. The following points should
be checked when testing the wheel motors:
•
Increase the power to 80% and block each
drive wheel in at least ten different positions
along the wheel revolution. Check that the
motor starts again when the blocking is
released.
•
Increase the power to 100% and check
that the speed in each wheel is at least
50 cm/second.
•
Check that the motors’ gearboxes are
not slipping by blocking each wheel. In
connection with blocking, the speed should
be 0 cm/second. Also listen for abnormal
sounds from the gearbox.
