9. Remove the lubricant top-up plug and warm the

entire gearbox using a hot air gun to about 150°C.

10. Knock the gearbox against a wooden block so that

the input axle and bearing fall out. See figure 4.

NOTE! The input axle with pinion must be dismantled

first.

11. Remove the output axle and bearings, while the

gearbox is still warm.

12. Use puller. See Service tools, pos. 14.
