Before using the
vehicle
for the time the battery needs to be charged for
a full twenty-four hours (no more than thirty hours). Only an adult who has read and
understands the following safety warnings should handle, charge or recharge of the
battery (see Maintenance).
Note:
It is not necessary to remove the battery from the vehicle for charging. However,
if the adapter cord will not safely reach a 240V wall outlet, the battery can be removed
for charging.
• Tampering or modifying the electric circuit system may cause
or explosion and permanently damage the system. Exposed wiring, circuitry
in the charger may cause electric shock. Always keep the charger housing
closed.
Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead
compounds (acid), chemicals and are toxic and corrosive. Never open the
battery.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged;
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity;
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy;
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision;
