SAFETY AND SECURITY
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your
vehicle.
The horn will chirp three times and
the turn signal lights will flash three
times.
When the ignition is off, press and
hold
for 3 seconds to activate an
alarm.
The horn will sound and the turn
signal lights will flash for
30 seconds.
To turn the alarm off sooner, press
the button again or turn on the igni-
tion.
Theft Deterrent System
The theft deterrent system will arm
when the doors are locked with the
remote keyless entry transmitter.
The Security System Light will begin
flashing to indicate that the theft
deterrent system is arming.
The Security System Light will turn
off after about 30 seconds.
The system will not arm if you lock
the doors with a key or the manual
lock lever.
To disarm the system, unlock the
vehicle using the keyless entry
transmitter.
The alarm will not be disarmed if the
doors are unlocked with a key or the
manual door lock.
