6. Getting Started
6.1 Batteries
1. Open battery compartment cover on the back
of the instrument by sliding it down.
2. Insert the batteries into the instrument,
observing the correct polarity.
3. Close battery compartment by sliding the
cover back into place.
Remove the batteries if the instrument is not
used over a longer period of time.
6.2 Belt Pouch
The laser instrument can be stowed in a belt
pouch for transport. It must be removed from the
pouch when taking measurements.
